Great food - and I mean really good. Lo Mein and moo shoo pork like I haven't had since I live in California many years ago. Ready for pick-up on time. Can't wait to eat here again.

Long Xings did it again! Alas, it was a Sunday night and I really, really did not want to cook. Add to that, Chinese just sounded amazing. I popped online and ordered like 30lbs of food for under $75. It was correct, made fresh, and ready on time! Pricing is right, too, as the entrees are pretty hefty. I stand by my last review. BEST. CHINESE. TAKEOUT. SPOT. Our order last night included: rangoons, vegetable rolls, egg drop soup, sesame chicken, orange chicken, mongolian beef, fried rice, white rice and lo mein. Perfection. Oh, and they threw in some free fried donuts with our order! Lots and lots of leftovers. My only qualm with Long Xing's is they don't deliver and its not really a 'eat in' type of spot. Get carryout at this IC staple today.
Great Chinese food at very reasonable prices. We love the egg rolls, chicken rice soup, and general tao chicken. There is not seating to eat in. This is a pickup only restaurant. They are friendly and very reasonably priced. The fried food is crispy and fresh and the portions are generous.
Excellent food. I was expecting a sit down restaurant, but was greeted to take out only I would definitely go back next time. I am in Iowa city.
Love this place for carry out. Service is great and food tasty. Their menu is abundant. Not much for ambiance as they don't have many tables for dining in, but I still like their food a lot.
Take out only. Friendly service that has maintained COVID boundaries from the public with a barrier between kitchen and public space. Lunch specials are delicious, very large serving size and include a can of pop ( soda). 2 entrees. Rice: $7.55. LoMein $8.49. Of note: will be closed 10/2/23 thru 10-28-23 for traditional purposes.
Long Xing still has my number. At least once a month we're treating ourselves to their delicious menu (more often during the winter months because they're on my comfort foods list). I've branched out to try a few new-to-me things since my last review, but it's hard to not order my favorites. Because the business is so kind, we've received (and eaten) more donuts than I care to admit! We spend at least $40 on food each time we visit and leave a good tip. Online ordering is easy and if the restaurant has any questions about your order, they will call. Super friendly staff. I think the dining room is still closed, but don't let that stop you from returning or trying Long Xing for the first time.
Best Chinese takeout in town! I've tried multiple things and they're all so good! Eat flavor and portion sizes. Only takeout (no dine in!) they also have steamed buns/baos for sale but I don't think you can order them online (only for call in)
As you read reviews hopefully you see a few things: 1: Servings are huge and seem to serve 3-4. 2: Carry out only 3: The price is very reasonable. I see why they consistently get high ratings! We always enjoy the crab Rangoons and shrimp lo mein.
